The CFA show went really well. Wild Bill was the only Ragdoll entered. I didn't get any pics but someone posted 1 of him here.

He spent most of the time out on his grooming space and people were amazed that he was so relaxed and didn't run away. When he would flop and stretch it made people laugh. Most of the time he just slept. He did get 1 final. A 2nd Best Longhair in Allbreed. The scoring in CFA is totally different than in TICA. But he did earn some grand points. He is already a Ch in CFA.

Also we have exciting news about a Calirags Kitten. Calirags Nakoma of Cajunragdolls earned three finals this weekend in Florida TICA show. She has earned 4 finals in three shows. We are very proud of her and hopes she continues to do well. She is a gorgeous Blue Bicolor. Here is a pic of her. Sorry for the bad Quality.

Yay!! What wonderful news for the Calirags family!Smile
Congrats!:D

I have done both TICA and CFA and found the atmosphere and pace of show to be quite different. In CFA the seating was random and I was next to a household pet person whose cat hid in the litterbox. He did leave the show early. Whereas in TICA they seem to seat the breeds together and the show moves a lot faster. There are also a lot more Ragdolls. Unfortunately there isnt as many TICA shows in my area.
Both organizations are good and the best part is talking to the people viewing the cats and answering their question and i always learn a lot from other breeders.
YAY!! Go Wild Bill (handsome as ever) and GO NAKOMA!! She is a definite beauty - Anne is a lucky lady!!! Big Grin
I just visited the CaliRags website for the first time - I LOVE the awesome sunset over water background! You have some very cute and cuddly babies, you should be very proud Big Grin
Thanks everyone.

Gail - since this was our first CFA show, we really didn't know what to expect. There is only a small number of breeders that show in CFA out here. You are right about the pace. The show being only four rings a day, started at 10:am and ended 7:00pm. for both days. We were benched by a Persion breeder. I did find that people were nice and helpful. But with one cat there were times it was boring. I hear that it's harder for Ragdolls to Final in CFA.

We will probably keep doing some CFA shows and see if we can get WB granded this coming year.

jo - Thanks for the compliments on the site and kitties. I have been very bad about keeping the website updated. But, am working on it now. We have our first litter of Lynx kitties now and they are just gorgeous. want to get those up on the site along with adding our breeders that I have been procrastinating on.
Congratz! What a lovely brag about Wild Bill! You must be proud of him! Smile Looking forward to seeing pics of your latest lynx litter... I am crazy about lynx'es... Hehehe... Smile
Thanks Wilson. I'll make sure to post some pics here.

We are excited about this litter and will be keeping one or two to show and add to our program.
