I am trying to find a home for a beautiful cat who was abandoned. I hope to find someone with hardwood or tile floors. In the 3 weeks I have had her, she has faithfully used the litter box if carpet is not available. I have had her in both environments and if carpet is available she will have accidents. I think this may be why she was abandoned. When at a friends tiled house for a week she was totally good.

I have had her vaccinated, groomed (she was very matted and dirty), started flea prevention, gotten rid of intestinal parasites. And she has gained some weight. According to the vet she is about 3 years old, 7+ lbs, declawed (all 4 paws) and spayed. She is white and beige with the dark tail and face / ear patches.

I hope to place her in a good home. She is loving and so sweet but my husband and I are retired and travel and do not want a pet at this time. She has done ok in our RV once we are parked but does not like the moving RV or car travel. I hope someone out there can give her a good home. I have been trying for the past 3 weeks thru friends and e-mail with no luck. I am in the Dallas area.
Good luck Lesley, it sounds like you have done wonders with her! Thanks for being such a great foster mom to her. I hope that you find the perfect furever home for her. Do you have pics??
Good luck, sounds like she's had a horrid life with previous owners...
How is she doing Lesley?
She is doing fine but still have not found her a home. I wish I could post a picture but I don't know how to do it on this new Apple computer. I wish I could keep her but our travel is a huge issue and I have carpet all over the house. She is a lovely little girl. This is very hard for me.
I wish you alot of luck as everyone deserves a second chance. Prayers will be with you.
