Last week I posted a thread about Eddie and Luna being stung by wasps.
Just this morning the breeder (she became a really good friend of us) from Eddie and Luna called with sad news. Since 78 months they had a adorable puppy called Zoey. Yesterdag Zoe got stung in her thorat by a bee. She rushed to the vet but Zoey died even before they got into the car.
She just called, and we both cried on the phone. I feel so sorry for her and for her husband and children.
Eddie and Luna pretty much grew up with Zoey....
That is so sad. Our thoughts are with you both xxx

RIP Zoey
So sorry to hear this. Condolences to Zoey's family. Be well at the rainbow bridge, Zoey.
Omgosh-so sad. It's really a scary thing...and that a sting can turn into something so very terrible.
How very sad, and what a scary thing to have happened. Please send my sympathies to Zoey's family.
I'm so very sorry for both of you how sad.
That is so scary Elise poor little Zoey rest in peace
What an awful thing to have happened, my thoughts are with you and your friends. Sleep tight with the angels Zoey.
I want to thank you all, also in behave of the breeder (I got her on the phone).
It has scared us too, tomorrow morning we call our vet, I want to have medication in case of Eddie or Luna got a bad reaction to another sting and there's no time to rush to the vet.
Today it was a beautiful spring day in the netherlands, but I kept Eddie and Luna in the house....
Oh that is horrible!! I'm so sorry to hear it. I hate wasps.
I was afraid when you said they had stung Eddie and Luna.
The venom in wasps stings is very poisonous and can be fatal to certain humans if they are allergic.
Yesterday something strange happened, and I was not paying attention to it, but now I want to share this with you:

Yesterday in the evening and tonight, Eddie was completely different from being himself. He kept on walking through the house, meouwing constantly. He did not want to eat, he walked to the frontdoor all the time and tried to get our attention in any way he could. We thought he was suffering from his teething and we cuddled him and try to comfort him as much as we could. Today the breeder called with the sad news about Zoey and Eddie tried to climb into the phone, he recognized her voice I am sure.
Now I found out Eddies discomfort started an hour after Zoey died and now I really think Eddie somehow felt this has happened. (Eddie and Luna were grown up wit Zoey)

I feel sorry for Eddie, but today he seems to be the old Eddie again.

Strange is this isn't it?
