Such a beautiful name, for such a beautiful boy. Please don't think you jinxed him with choosing that name. Life is not fair sometimes

I am so sorry--he was such a handsom little guy and I really thought he would pull through too--I guess he was just too good for this world...

Thank you everyone for you kind words and thoughts. The loss of Monty has been far harder to expect than I anticipated but your posts have helped me through. The knowledge that so many people care without really knowing me or Monty is heart-warming even though most of the posts have brought me to tears once again.

Today I fetched his ashes back from the crematorium in North Wales so another sad and somewhat surreal day. Now I will have to get Stan to clear the front garden so that we can bury the box and then I will plant some forget-me-nots on the spot. He may not be with us anymore but he will always have a piece of my heart with him.
