I thought it was wonderful, and would be especially helpful for breeders for naming new breeding cats, or having themed litter names, or for show exhibitors (there is some brilliant long names for showing!) or even for you pet owners who would like a fancy long name.

Thanks Cloe, I am always in need of help when it comes to choosing names. Our problem in the UK is that all cats registered with the GCCF are limited to 26 letters including spaces, hyphens and prefix so I already have 12 taken up with Fluffyhuffy and the space - should have picked a shorter prefix!!
I think its the same here. We only have so many characters allowed in our cats names including spaces, hyphens, prefix and even suffix!!
I made a shorter prefix for my cattery name. I have 2 catteries listed with TICA "Blueskyragdolls" and "Blueskydolls" its amazing how the 3 letters of "rag" being dropped can open up a ton of extra space for your names.
I think its 32 characters that we're allowed.
Lovin' it, although I already picked a name out - maybe I will change my mind!
