Today I stopped into our local animal shelter to get a volunteer application, while they made me a copy I decided to peek at the furbies. Right inside the door was a kitty, the spitting image of Mocha, it was startling. I asked about her and they told me that she came in with a litter of kittens, and they had all been adopted. This poor girl is thin, though not emaciated as Mocha was. I am sorry, I don't have a pic but I may go back and take some so I can post her here. I want her.. she is so sweet.. but I just can't take on one more right now.

Maybe you could make it your challenge to find someone to adopt her?
Oh Kitty what's one more? It would brighten your day and give a poor little kitty a great home. We only go around once, you have to grab for the gusto while you can.

I would love to help her find a new home, she is so adorable she may be gone already.. but it is a kill shelter so I will see if I can get her placed into a rescue shelter in the very least.
Pepper, I don't know... this is a teensy apartment and I don't want to upset the nice balance with Bonkers and Mocha. I am so fortunate that they share a litter box, I couldn't fit another in, lol.
Maybe you could foster the poor thing until she finds a home? A kill shelter doesn't sound like a very nice place to be staying
I just saw this. What an awful situation Kitty. I know what you mean about space & litterboxes, plus it's really costly to keep up these babies vaccines & meds & vet checks. What ever happened? Are you volunteering at the shelter? If so, God Bless you. I'd just be crying all the time if I attempted it.
