a few of you have commented to me about the beautiful place i live in. a lot of people call it paradise. we are right below the equator i am told so the heat can tend to be unbearable. so i took a few photos of what we call "the strand" it is the main beach here

the hill in the above picture is called castle hill it is a local attraction for the fit, the non fit and the weightloss junkies. all times of the day people are walking up the road and whats called the goat track which is the dirt way up the hill, almost like a rock hike full of stairs.

the above picture is call magnetic island for those that know of our countries history captain james cook when exploring found this island because his compass went haywire, spinning non stop. it is about 8km from the main land. it is an amazing place the beaches are crystal clear

That's an amazing place. So pretty and clean, and with the beaches and then the mountains right in the background. Must be nice to be able to see that on a daily basis.
LOL i dont but i could if i wanted too. we dont have waves either. the great barrier reef protects us from any waves. but i have seen people out on surf board, it kind of baffles me though
