Ragdoll Cat Forums

Hello Everyone,

I am new to forums in general, so please be patient with my forum etiquette! and any/all help would be appreciated!

My name is Angela and I live in Spain with my husband Bob and our 1 year old ragdoll, Layla. I always had cats before we moved here 6 years ago but because we live in a flat on the 7th floor, I thought it wouldnt be fair to keep a moggie permanently indoors (my other cats would have gone crazy!) and the spanish are not to cat friendly so letting one out would be a bit of a risk! Then I heard about the ragdoll and found a breeder in Malaga and we fetched Layla home when she was 4 months old.

I have looked on this forum before for advice, and found some very useful information and found that even if they are all the same breed they all seem to have their own personalities!

Although Layla is very much a cuddles cat, she is on my lap as we speak, not in a normal cat way, in a ragdoll on her back, gazing adoringly up at me way! She is also very energetic, still rampages around the flat after goodness knows what! and wants to know exactly what I am doing all the time!

I will try and post a picture when I have worked out how to do it, they all seem to big to post!

I also have a few questions which I guess I put in the other discussions?

Hi Angela and welcome to the forum. Layla sounds wonderful and I do look forward to pictures of her. Yes, you're right, there are a few different sections of the forum, so just post your questions the section that seem most appropriate. I would assume probably in Ragdoll Discussions or Ragdoll Health whichever fits.

Hi! do you have an account like face book or photobucket where you can post pictures online? I have found that this is the easiest most reliable way to post pictures. A photobucket account is free, and all you have to do is past the image [IMG] URL into the text box on the forum. Or, if you already have photo's online, then you can just use the 'insert picture' icon provided by the forum (you may have to disable a pop-up blocker) and insert the web address into the URL box that comes up when you click the icon. Hi Angela, welcome to the forum. It sounds like Layla has a great personality, it will be lovely to hear more about her. Whereabouts in Spain are you? My uncle lives in Spain, not far from Estepona so I know the Costa del Sol from Malaga down to Gibraltar fairly well.
