and it had water in it hehe. So it is summer here. I live in the country on tank water, so to save water on the days I have a bath instead of a shower ( I prefer baths ) hehe....I leave the water in the bath just in case I need to jump in and cool off, let me tell you, this happens often lol. I can't stand the heat personally. Anyways not much water is used, just enough for me to lay in and cool off. So as it happens, I was watching t.v this evening, and I was well aware I had left the water in the bath, normally I have let it go by now...and it had occured to me, I wonder what the raggies will do....well *splash splash...splash and then another splash...I race to the bathroom to find...Cazbah running for his life down the hallway...and then I see why...Kizmet strides out, walking and licking himself at the same time...shaking his feet like a dance.....and quite content. His legs and his underbelly were wet...that is how shallow the bath is, so no chance of drowning etc. I proceed to call Cazbah, he comes toddling along happy as larry, after that traumatic moment LOL......and I start to help Kizmet dry off, he continues to lick himself whilst I am doing this lol...and then I leave him be. 5 minutes later...Kizmet decides it is lovey time early this evening, all wet and proceeds to lay on my lap, whilst he continues licking himself dry....moral of the story...it really was funny and absolutely no harm done at all....and just a reminder of how solid and calm raggies are...he fell in...he clambered out...he carried on

I had the same issue overhere with Luna two nights ago.
I filled the tub with water and some nice smelling bathoil (orange) and Luna decided to jump in. She managed to jump out before I got her and she ran to the bedroom and jumped on the bed which litteraly turned into a waterbed by then.
It took me over an hour to get her dry and she still has a distinct orange smell and she still is very very fluffy ;-)
And not afraid of the tub because today she tried to jump in the bath again!

It made me smile to think of Kizmet floundering in the bath but then I discovered he'd only been for a paddle. Then Luna chears me up by floundering in her orange scented bath - oh yes, I do have a wicked side
Having said that, Blossom often hides behind the shower curtain and gets wet when the shower gets turned on then, this morning I heard the shower running when I knew we had all had a shower. I'm not sure how she had done it but Blossom was sitting in the bath with the shower raining down on her playing with the water in the bath. I know for a fact that the shower had not been turned on 5 minutes earlier so do we now have a cat who can turn it on for herself??
Kim, That is just crazy! I love the bath story, and Jane.. does Blossom also fetch your yarn for you? Will she be demanding a spa with jets soon?
