Hello from Wisconsin! A treasured find = this wonderfully informative forum. I just discovered it in the last few days, and after seeing all of the friendly Ragdoll owners with their beautiful cats, I decided to join.

I've been searching for a Ragdoll kitten or even an adult Ragdoll & am comtemplating this one. I want a smaller sized cat/kitten and this little girl is that for sure (I think she's 5 months old). The problem is I've been hoping for a blue or lilac one (I like the lighter colors), but what do all of you think about this? Should I be selective & wait or take this sweet girl (I have not yet met her). I wonder if there are very many smaller petite sized Ragdolls out there for sale?

Oh....LOL I see I need a URL to post pics. I'll get her pics into my photobucket soon. Edited to add one....more coming soon. Thanks!!

Welcome to the forum. Whatever you choose I'm sure you'll think it the best decision. They are all special. Can't wait to see your pictures....
Welcome! The Ragdoll is the perfect cat of course! Though, not so sure about the "small" part, lol.

Thanks Pepper! They are all special for sure.
Welcome to the forum!

In my opinion, you will be happier having a cat with the personality you love but a color that wasn't your first choice, rather than having a cat with your color of choice and possibly a personality that you weren't set on.

Waiting is never a bad thing, I believe that good things come to those who wait. Some kitty, with the personality AND color of your dreams may very well still be out there, or yet to be born!

You will know when the time is right, it just clicks.

Thanks Kitty Glitter! It really is! I discovered the Ragdoll cat is the perfect cat after doing endless research on the breed. lol But, I know what you're getting at about the small part. Your Ragdolls are so precious and so are Peppers. Everyone here has such pretty cats.

That makes perfect sense.....the personality rates over the color choice. I hear ya on you will know when it's right. It does really need to click. Thanks! What bicolor is your Solo? I don't think I've ever seen such a splendid color before!
Welcome! I know what you mean about the treasured find. I love this forum and it's been a lifesaver. I didn't personally know anyone with ragdoll cats when I got here. These are the nicest people you will ever meet.
That little girl has such a cute nose. Good luck with whichever kitten you pick and be sure to keep us in the loop. We are crazy for new babies! Rolleyes
I think she is adorable! I would say go and meet her and see what you think. I agree with Alisha (Solo), personality is so much more important than color. Good luck with your decision, and welcome!!! You'll love it here Smile
Welcome ! She's adorable. I know how you feel about the lighter colors. Our Sunny is a blue point and I adore her. She just LOOKS like a little girl! But, ultimately, personality is EVERYTHING.

Where in Wisconsin are you ? We're in Green Bay. Where is the kitten at? At a breeders close by ?

Thanks KatLeen! This really is such a great place. Earlier, I was reading a thread about a cat balancing on a lamp finial, and a whole bunch of other funny things, and I was laughing my head off cuz it was such a cute story!

This possible adoption does have a cute blazed nose. I wonder if she will get real dark as she matures with the seal color?

And, all of you have such cute Ragdolls! I will keep you all in the loop for sure.

Hi Lindz! Wow, what beautiful eyes Dexter & Leo have in your pretty & creative signature. Thanks and yes, I should probably go meet her first. Thanks for the welcome, too!

Hi to Echo! OMG, does it get any cuter than that.....having your adorable Sunny inside of a Sun! So true about Sunny looking like a little girl. I see you like the lighter colors, too. :-)

I'm about 20 minutes SW of Madison, WI. So great meeting another Wisconsinite! The kitten is in Plover, WI. I think it is a 4 hour round trip. I have been searching since December, and most of the breeders in this state are just now having new litters born again. I've also been looking at the Rescue sites for an adult. Would luv to give one a new chance in life. So, it would be me adopting either a kitten or an adult, either is fine.
