Solo always is grooming his ruff, or his "beard" as we like to tease him about!
He will lick it and get hair stuck in his mouth. Sometimes he will have his head way up in the air struggling to get the long beard hair out of his mouth! It is funny to see I have to admit.
Does anyone else have the same trouble?

Yep, we had the same overhere with our angel Herman. He had a big ruff and a little mouth. He sometimes struggled so hard to get the hair out of his mouth, we decided to trim his beard a little ;-)

Both my boys love to clean their ruffs... But of course the ruffs don't get stuck in their mouths because their ruffs are still quite short... Maybe when they grow up, they will face the same predicament as Solo... LOL..
I like Solo's big ruff, looks very manly... Hehehe...
What a funny pic! Yes, Simone has a little of that problem. But my Simon used to have really bad problem with it. Sometime he gave up getting it out and would just sit there with it in his mouth.
This doesn't happen often with Dexter's ruff, but always with his tail! The hair on his tail is soooooo long. He gets it stuck in his mouth and he has to shake his head forever to get it out. I think he's given up on grooming it so I brush his tail for him about every other day.
Hahaha Dakota does that too--my husband and I make fun of him by copying him because it looks so funny--he looks at us like we're crazy whenever we tease him like that.
LOL Yep, our Sunny does the same thing ! Tiny mouth with a long, furry ruff. She'll just sit there with fur stuck in her mouth and give us 'the eyeball' as if to ask "Are you just going to SIT there ?"
Not yet, but maybe it's because they have each other to keep them groomed.

Yes, same thing here with Mistral! He really struggles with it sometimes and I have to go and sort it out for him. Poor Freddie doesn't have that problem as he doesn't have much of a ruff at all!
