Okay.. so we have been cooped up in the house due to my son being sick. He was finally feeling a bit better, and ever since the kids saw King Arthur and Merlin's video playing with the Da Bird, they've been begging for one. Soooo, we took a trip to Pet Food Express, where we did not find Da Bird, but did find a Zoom Groom. After hearing you all talk about them, of course the cats HAD to have one! AND, after seeing my niece's squeaking mouse, we HAD to have that too.

Next stop, Petco, where we found Da Bird.. but I couldn't stop there.. I HAD to get the laser light as well. Not only that, but Bonkers needed a new name tag so we got him the pretty gold one in the shape of a heart.

Mocha is luke warm on Da Bird, he likes the laser light a bit, ignores the mouse completely... Bonkers is hiding.. too much pressure! Hopefully we'll have more success when the kittys are a bit used to the new toys.

We took about a pound of undercoat off of Mocha with the Zoom Groom, he was purring like a Harley. A big success!

haha what a great vid!! yes the things we do for our furkids... we find the more expensive and complex the toy is, the more they ignore it! the laser light is good value, at least until they figure out they can't catch it very spoilt and much loved

I get excited about going to the pet store how bad is that..lol....
My husband will ask did you go to the pet store Linda ,,,yes why,,,,cause there is a check for 60.00 what did you buy ,,,
then I reply cat food and ummmmm,,,,,,,cat toys My babies are spoil all so.You no my husband will pick on me for buying to many cat toys but he was talking about building them a maze today out of some kind of pipeing:rolleyes:and haveing it run through the house.aaaaaaaaaaaa

Ha Ha Linda! Ugh, I really need to save my money.. I was bad. But my cats are my therapy, so it's a medical expense... RIGHT? LOL

You have to show this house to your husband, it is unreal! It will make your cat obsession seem like a part time hobby, LOL.

LOL wow that house is incredible!...Indeed just a simple empty box...is all my boys need, and they play for hours...of course I can not help but continue to buy toys for them...most hardly get used lol...they seem to pick a toy and stick with it until it is wrecked...like Kizmets mouse (RIP) lol...I still need to get a lazer light though...lately I have been using a normal small torch at night...does the trick hehe

It certainly sounds like somone was spoiled on your shopping trip My lot have to do with the paper carrier bags that the shopping comes in, lol

OO glad they like the zoom groom at least! I also love that brush, it is sooo great for the shedding. Works super good on dogs too! That video is pretty much what it looks like in my living room when I get out da bird also! I am so glad I got that toy, Solo will play until he is huffing and puffing, tongue out like a tired dog. Silly little man, I will have to post a video of him some time!

Oh please do post one Alisha! Mocha really likes the laser pointer now, he'll chase it around, and I can get him running in circles.
