He's definitely feels so much better! We've had a couple of accidents, but JanH has given me some incredible advice to get him to start using the litterbox again. We had to do a spring cleaning of our bedroom (basically take everything out and clean the whole place with water/vinegar solution and wash all the linens and curtains). The smell of cat urine is really unmatched by anything for awfulness! We're still smelling it, though I don't know if we've missed spots or if its just in our heads. At least our little fella is feeling better, its so nice to see him playing with Koa again and not looking so miserable!
I went through the cat urine thing here, upon moving in, both cats scent marked everything.. brand new mattress, my sectional, the kids clothes, blankets, down comforters.. it was a nightmare!!!! I discovered pheromones but I wish I'd known about them sooner. I swear I smelled urine for a long time afterward, but also wondered if I was imagining it. I got everything clean but it was not fun.

I'm slowly catching up with the news, and I'm really sorry to hear Monkey Man was down. Thank goodness he's coming around and doing better. Give him some kisses and pets from me.

Jenny I'm so sorry Monkey's had this problem. I just saw this thread tonight. That must have been torture for you to know he was in pain and have to wait.
I'm really glad to hear he's better now.
UTI's were so painful to me, I thought I'd lose my mind, and cranberry juice was the quickest relief I could find, but then I'm not a cat.
So glad to hear that Monkey is feeling better today, I hope he continues to improve.
