Thought I had the lamp in the living room in a safe place.....NOT! Getting ready this moring for work, I suddenly her a CRASH and a TING. I see Raggies flying left and right. Walking through the house I discover the remains of a candle votive and the living room lamp with a big hole in the side of it on the floor. Quickly I go to pick up peices of glass and broken lamp peices. I get the vacuum cleaner to vacuum up the small particles. All the while I have my eyes on the Gs to make sure that they are alright and did not get cut. After I finish cleaning, I take a closer look at the Gs. Both escaped without a scratch.
I go back to getting ready for work-half relieved and half aggravated. Then, I hear a CLUNK. Again, Raggies are flying left and right. Thankfully, this time there were no remains to be cleaned up. Just nic nacs to be moved. Again, the Gs escaped without a scratch.
The Gs make life interesting and exciting! Never a dull moment!
So, next time you think that you have kitten-proofed your house...THINK AGAIN!
Forget about kitten proofing - there's cat proofing too - you're now committed to a lifetime of it, it's not just a phase!
You'd think my girls would be too old to get into mischief but I got a call this past Sat on my cell phone from hubby. I was supposed to be at home, but had left to run an errand, and when he got home a big vase was on its side and had a hole broken out of the side. He was afraid something had happened between finding that and me being gone which was why he called, but it was only Simone. I know it was her because when I left, she had been purched on the table beside it. Here's my mend job and I turn its back to the wall.....

Haven't had any broken things yet...but plenty of things have been knocked over. Solo loves tipping over my vases when I put flowers in them. Naughty! What is funny too, he KNOWS not to get on the table or anything. I never ever EVER see him get on the table, coffe table, shelves, or anything. Yet occasionally when I wake up in the morning I find things I had up on a shelf, table, or somewhere off in another room.. HMMM, wonder who did it?

Obviously it would be the gremlins that live in your house because I'm sure Solo wouldn't do anything like that!!
goodness.....yes indeed, I have had a jewelry box and a candle holder broken.
I have had no major accidents ...yet..but apart from a few plants on shelving...there is nothing they can break..I don't think.....LOL...but they love to jump up at my curtains, specially Cazbah....oh well there was 1 time...one of my amazon plants got pulled down but...it lived! and it is actually growing a pink flower again...amazing, since I know alot of ppl that have never been able to regrow the flower on these ....hehe

Ayeeeeeeeeeeeieeeeee! I have been very lucky here.. caught Mocha on the kitchen table a few times, and have caught him up on a chair with his face in a dinner plate. Once he was drinking gravy from a bowl, lol. Like he needs the calories!!
Sorry to hear of all of the raggie wreckage!
Raggies break things?? Surely not?
In the past couple of months I have had to replace the sensor for my daughter's Wii because they chewed through the very fine wire; replace the carpet in another daughter's bedroom because one of the little cherubs got shut in her room 3 days after she had a new carpet fitted and ripped it up and frayed all the edges by the door; replace 3 cups and 2 pint glasses; stick the stair carpet back down where Susie had made a den behind the riser on the turn on the stairs and, possibly wierdest of all, replace 3 toothbrushes because one of the cats gets them out of the bathroom and down the stairs and into the litterbox by the front door every morning!!
Bubba has broken several stemmed glasses at night.

I'm always surprised at how he can manuver his way around things on tables and fireplace mantles without disturbing them.
They haven't broken many things so far, however Bubba loves to snack on paper...toilet paper, junk mail, and magazines. Most of the Christmas cards we sent had his signature teeth marks.
I left some undeposited checks on the table overnight and was lucky that Bubba didn't eat those.
Menou's mission in life is to steal cosmetics and any applicators, be it brushes or cotton swabs. I know he should have been a girl. He used to bite a lot of pencils, but seems to have given that up. I suspect he was attempting to order some Bare Minerals and figured out he can't write without thumbs.

Monkey HATES things being on top of other things. It is mission in life to make them off, he really hates nicnacs and clutter! Therefore, everything that used to have a place on a bookshelf/desk/countertop/media cabinet/bureau/night stand/etc now has a place in drawers/boxes/cabinets/garage/etc. Maybe someday I'll have a cat-free room, like a guest bedroom, and I can display things again, but until then my house has a lot of empty tables and shelves
