Crap like this can only happen to me. LMAO

My daughter had to work super early today. My husband was unaware that she went in early. He took my car today (it was parked in the driveway, so he didn't notice her care was gone from the garage) so he took my car keys and says he forgot that his car keys were in his jacket pocket. Ok....all of those are no big deal taken individually.

But, with Paige and HER keys gone and with Chris having his keys AND my keys? Sigh...when he left for work, he turned the lock in the doorknob AND locked the deadbolt in the back door as he always does. And the front door was still locked from overnight. Again, no big deal, except the dead bolts on BOTH doors to the house are keyed locks. There's no little thingie to turn to unlock the door...you MUST have a key.

So. I'm locked in my own darn house. LOLOLOL Paige will be home from work around 2, but until then, I'm literally a prisoner in my own home. The really sucky part is that I'm DYING for a Sprite. And if I look through the back foyer door, there's the case of Sprite in the garage. Nice and cold. And totally out of my reach. Aaarrgghhh !!!! Big Grin
Now that is truly a twist around to be locked IN your house instead of OUT! I think that's the first I've heard of that. Hey- how about the windows? Dare you to climb out one and get a sprite!!
That is sooo funny! I totally understand though...our fridge is full (just went grocery shopping) with all kinds of juices BUT I'm a total Coca Cola addict. If it were me, I'd have to go through a window Big Grin
I WISH I could be fortunate enough to get locked in my house today! LOL! Instead I'm stuck at work... I hope you have some spring cleaning or something to keep you busy Smile Smile
So far, I've scoured the sinks, brushed the kitties, done the dishes, got supper ready, done some laundry and mopped the hard wood floors.

Seriously, though....this is getting to feel VERY creep ! LOL And most people get locked IN their homes. Not me. No sirree....*insert eye roll here*

I called a friend who...when she was done hysterically laughing at me...suggested that we should probably keep some extra house keys around. Just 'in case', ya know. Ya. Got that covered. We HAVE an extra house key. Outside in the GARAGE !! With my flipping SPRITE !! LOLOLOL

This is the funniest thing that's ever happened to me. Funny 'weird' and funny 'ha ha'. I thought about launching my XL bee hind out a window in search of said Sprite, but none of them are at a level that the thought of the drop doesn't scare the bejesus outta me.

Yep. What a day... LOL
Hahahahaha Echo.... you're so funny
LMAO!!! What a predicament. Hope one of your family comes home soon.
I bet you've had that Sprite by now. Must have tasted GREAT! Shoot, now I want one and I'm all comfy under a blanket on the couch LOL. A friend of mine got accidentally locked outside in the snow by her husband who had gone shopping and thought she was in the house. She sat outside freezing till he came back.. poor girl!

I agree, an extra key would be good... inside! LOL
Hahahahaha! this made me laugh so much. I bet that sprite was so satisfying when you finally got it Smile
Omg this is so funny(I"M SORRY) I have sat here and just giggle about your bad luck
But know worries I can fix you up:)HEE,HEE
