...would return to the same breeder you got your Raggies from? I appreciate many of us have Raggies from different breeders, for example, Cazbah is from a local breeder here, and Kizmet is from Aurorapetz. I would most definately return to these 2 breeders, for reasons such as...their temperments, their health, their looks and they are both lovely settled kitties. Aurorapetz are simply wonderful breeders in my eyes, they do everything right, and they truely breed astonishingly beautiful Raggies... Mike and Gill are lovely ppl very personable and friendly and they clearly love their animals

They always show an interest in kitties they sell on and they are always very willing to offer any advice needed, they care

... and they have introduced the Self Coloured Ragdoll to NZ, which I personally think is excellent! I have seen these lil' guys in the flesh, and let me say, they are stunning! Everything a Pointed Ragdoll is except coloured hehe, I was so tempted to get one!...no Kim!!!!.... not to mention they gifted me my late Zylah and now Kizmet

So would you return to your breeder/breeders?...and Why?...Thanks guys

I bought both Sky/Evo from Margaret of Kiwimagic Ragdolls... One word to describe her ragdolls : Perfect!!

My boys are the typical laid-back, sweet temperament and the correct type that one would love to own... I am very happy with her ragdolls.. Margaret is the most lovely breeder that I have ever met.. She is very passionate about ragdolls and has many years of experience in breeding ragdolls... Also I find that she is very honest and responsible breeder, which is quite hard to find nowadays... Even after I bought Sky/Evo from her, I still keep in close contact with her, and constantly ask her advice... I have learnt alot about ragdolls from her.. So, I will definitely go back to her for my new addition... Soon...

Btw, I am not trying to "promote" her or her ragdolls in this post, these are just my heart-felt words to describe her...

Uhhum....did I see the word* soon*?!?! Wilson!!!! prying minds need to know...do elaborate!

and yes I understand Wilson...all we are doing is sharing good experiences with good breeders, not promoting, after all, a good breeder needs no promoting! hehe

By the way Wilson...Kiwimagic Ragdolls are in my Kizmets breeding lines, on his mother's side, just looked at the papers...Kizmets mothers Great Grandfather is Kiwimagic Hercules...I think..papers get confusing..but they are in there lol....cool aye!
I have just PMed you Wilson....

I would have to go with my same breeder, Regency Rags, because Bubba is the bravest, sweetest, handsomest, smartest, lovingest

...well you get my drift. Now I have to make sure that Menou never sees this!

My breeder is now out of the breeding business, but no, I wouldn't go back to her. I got my girls before coming to a ragdoll forum and realizing what really goes into being a good breeder. While her house was immaculate and the cats looked healthy, they were not socialized well, and when I tried to get their vet records after I got them (Samantha was 3.5 years and Simone 18 months) Samantha had only been to the vet 1 time -- to be neutered. The breeder gave them vaccinations herself, but never took them to the vet for a check, and I later found that applied to her kittens she bred too. Same with Simone -- only time to the vet -- for neutering.
Didn't Regency Rags join the forum recently?
Yes I would- for all the reasons Kim said about Aurorapetz.
My Max is from Megailee Ragdolls, Gail is the most considerate and informative breeder not to mention her offspring are amazing. I would definetly fly down to NC again! As for Simon, as much as he is an amazing boy and absolutely gorgeous, his breeder doesn't respond to e-mails quickly or give information needed. In fact I still haven't received Simon's papers although she says they will be coming soon. (I picked up Simon 11/8/09...She is a very busy lady and works crazy hours so I think that accounts for some of it. I don't think I would go back to her again. All that said, I love my two boys and wouldn't give them up for anything!
