Pure food it looked like. Overeating?
Cazbah did that the other week....it may have been a furball...or just ate too fast to much...just my humble opinion...obviously if he keeps doing it, maybe a vet visit, but if he is eating fine again and happy in himself, it was probably a furball or his eyes to big for his tummy ! lol Smile
From the way he eats, probably ate too much. I hope it does not happen again! Did he eat anything out of the ordinary?
Sounds like overeating or eating to fast. As long as he sees to feel ok, I wouldn't be too concerned. I get some throwup around here periodically. If it continues, you might have to put a golf ball in his food bowl to slow down his eating some.
My Mom used to put rocks in our lab's food to slow him down.. poor Louie LOL.
Kittens may overeat or eat too fast and so do throw up. If you see chunks of food it and it is soon after they ate then most likely is from that. Monitor him and see if any change in the behavior of the kitten.
It wasn't chunks of food- it was pure brown icky stuff. Like puree?
probably a hairball, then. Just keep an eye on him, and if he seems otherwise OK and doesn't repeatedly vomit it's probably nothing to worry about.
Okay, thank you. See how it goesSmile
we often have this problem with titan, he gulps down his food than lays by his water bowl and constantly drinks by leaving his head on the bowl. we think that the water swells all the food up and pushes it out of his tummy. so we monitor him closely if he goes near water after dinner i pick him up and pat him. cheeky little bugger goes straight back though
