Hi,

I decided to keep a seal bicolor male back from Dolly and Maxwell.
He is now 5.5 months old and we love him and are thinking of using him as a breeder someday. He will add seal color to our cattery and is a large sweet boy. The funny thing is as a kitten he was the roughest boy and didnt even want to be held as he was always on the go. Now he purrs nonstop and jumps in my lap at night when I am watching tv. This is the ragdoll personality that I want to pass on.

He's one very handsome kitty. He has such a sweet face.

He is gorgeous Gail. Do kittens personalities when they're little always change? How do you tell what kind of personality each kitten has?

Around 5 weeks of age the personality starts to emerge. They usually dont change too much. A sweet kitten who likes to be held will usually stay that way. You can tell the adventurous ones and the thinkers. If I bring a new toy into a room of kittens there will be one who runs right up to it and another who hides for a few minutes then comes out. I also tell personality by how they interact with each other.

He was always loving but now as he is a bit older and his littermates are gone he enjoys the human company more. The adult girls wont tolerate being woken up to wrestle where as a kitten his littermates put up with him. He adjusted to his new environment plus a lot of handling and love has tamed him
