This is totally off topic, but I get the biggest kick out of words-expressions used in different countries. For example, "Hoovering" in the UK vs. Vacuuming" here in the US. Dust bins vs. waste baskets, etc.

PANTS = Knickers or underwear in the UK and in America/Canada = Trousers.
Ha ha, as in "don't get 'cher knickers in a bunch LOL!
I think a doona is a quilt or bed of some sort??? I had too look it up!

Comforter? Here we put the comforter inside the duvet, ha ha! Fun differences.
Track pants here in NZ...Sweats or Sweat pants, I think they are called, in the USA
