Suspenders and jumpers are different in the UK, but I can't remember which is what. Someone help me out, here.
My favorite word is "gezzunda". Not positive of the spelling, but my Brit friends told me it was a chamber pot. It gezzunda the bed.

I love the word Kaput. Means broken in German, must be my German heritage creeping out. That or the influence from my German Honey!
ummm suspenders - elastic things you clip onto your pants to hold them up?? i think they are called braces aswell?
and a jumper is like a sweater/sweatshirt??
This is a fun thread. My closest friend is from Australia and even after 10 years I still tilt my head at some of the words or phrases.

I also have heard her hubby say:

(Get me a beer)
I love all of these, so much fun! Those Aussie phrases are a HOOT!
