I weighed Albus on Sunday (I know, late post) and he hasn't put on any weight at all since Jan 7 (his 6month mark). So now he's 7 months and no more weight? Could this be due to Albus going on holiday and Fawkes coming?
He also looks like he's lengthened out alot and is looking skinnier than say a week ago. He's acting normal but he obviously has lost weight. Should I be worried?
If he is eating and playing, and not got bones sticking out everywhere, which clearly he does not! hehe...I would not worry...they all go through lanky stages...and each cat is different...he looks very healthy and happy in the pics to me
I agree with Kim, I don't think there is any cause for concern he looks fab!
He's just going through the lanky adolescent phase. He'll begin to put on more weight soon I'm sure. If he's really lost weight, then I'd be a little more concerned, but the same weight but growing, then I would think that his nutrition is going more into size than weight right now. If concerned, give your vet a call though and see what they say.
Maybe Al is playing so hard with his new brother he is exercising it off. You know it's hard work taking care of a new baby!
