I am so happy she's doing better now. It breaks your heart when your raggie is sick...........

I almost made a fool of myself (OK, I DID make a fool of myself) at the vets. He was getting ready to give Samantha the shot and we were talking about Simone and how she was due for a booster when the vet picked up Samantha's scruff and started to give her the shot. I grabbed his hand and said "what do you think you're doing" -- he said "giving her the shot" like I was an idiot and couldn't tell. I said, "not in the scruff" and then he reminded me it wasn't a vaccine and it was ok - however if it had been one of the longer acting cortisone shots he would have given that in her leg. I was so embarassed and kept apologizing. This on top of me questioning them on what they used to clean their hands between animals, and making sure they had disinfected the scale before they weighed Samantha. I'm sure they think I'm a total nut case!

Sorry, I'm just now seeing this. I'm glad Miss Samantha is okay.

Could I hire you to take my boys for vet visits? You sound a lot more assertive than me. Tongue It seems like when I finally do speak up, I'm mistaken.
LOL!! Well, it's obvious when I spoke up, I was too!!
oops, I'm not sure how this happened, but I just accidentally clicked on something and apparently I "rated" this thread! Total accident!
