Is there a clipper out there that doesn't crush? I've tried several, but it all boils down to a ragged edge. The most recent, and I use it now, is the guillotine type. My boys are very good about getting manicures, but I'd like it to be even neater and nicer. Widget, on the other hand, has to be burrito-ed. Those double claws just can't be separated for clipping and have to be crushed together to cut.

This style makes a clean cut. However, when it gets dull, it may start to crush the nail. Then, one can replace the blade and it will again be sharp and give clean cuts.

I have a sharp little pair of nail scissors that seem to do a good job. I'm sure over time they'll dull though and I'll have to replace the scissors, not just a blade in them.
Thanks! I've just ordered the Drs. F&S clippers.
I'm sure everyone will appreciate the less stressful activity. I paid about the same for the ones I have, now, but they always crushed a bit.

You'll have to give us a review on them once you get them. (Then we'll blame JanH if they don't work well, ok??)

Yeah. Jan is so sensitive. We'll have to be gentle if we need to pan a suggestion. Smile

Now that you say that Jan, I think that's what I normally blame computer errors at work on (others', not mine). But I'm sure that Janilee is so proficient with cutting nails and of course, just the fact that she's a woman (and you know women rarely do anything wrong) that I'm fairly certain if they don't work we can just blame it on you Big Grin

Thinking T is cruising for trouble and trying to drag innocent cat nail clipper into the fray.
LOL!! I just love getting come backs from JanH...they always make me laugh.
