Thank you all for your responses. I feel better. And actually, he seems a little better today. He still does his share of meowing but it isn't constant like it was the first couple of days. Right now he is in my lap half asleep, purring his head off and kneading his little paws into my bathrobe. I just love that!!
I'll post a picture soon. He is a beautiful little Seal Lynx Bicolor. But first I have to come up with the perfect name for him. This is the 4th day we've had him & I still don't have a name for him. No wonder he is meowing. lol.
Oh don't worry, it took me about two weeks before I came up with a name. Glad he is doing better!

Glad that he is ok now.. Think he has settled down at your home already.... With this, you can get ready for lots of fun time with him... Ragdolls are very affectionate and "addictive"...

LOL... Did I say "addictive"?

Nvm, you will understand what I am saying after a few months... Hahaha.... As for the naming part, you can post a new thread for help... I am very sure you will be spoilt with choices as there are soo many ppl here that will have great/creative names for your little one..

oh my gosh I am glad I am not alone.. I got my week 8 week boy Raggie on Monday and he is one vocal cat!! He is adorable tho and i love him to bits!!
Monkey is a meower, and I mean he meows A LOT. He meows when you talk to him, he meows when you don't talk to him, he meows when he's in another room just so you know where he is, he meows at night because he's not getting any attention (this last one has really gotten annoying lately!). Its just what he does and who he is. Other than the night time meows he's taken up lately, I really like him meowing. Sometimes we have entire conversations. It sounds to me that you might just have a homesick kitten who's adjusting, but if not, hopefully his meows will grow on you like Monkey's meows have grown on me

Congratulations hon Louie is a year old and Ive only had him for almost a week he meows when I go to pat him we talk to eachother he doesnt meow too too much but I fear that I got a loud mouth lol. Im sure that your baby will calm down soon or maybe he just has a lot to say to you lol until then good luck and hang in there.
Sincerely
Candice & Louie
My kitten, Fawkes, meowed constantly- once (in the first few days) he even almost choked himself by meowing while drinking. After about 3 or 4 days the meowing lessend until it completely stopped by the first week. He now only meows when he wants something. Just hang in there.

That one would be hard to explain: Death by Meow.

Haha Matt, that's so funny about Fawkes.
Sandeelee, our 5.5 year old Birman Macky is quite a vocal cat. That's just a typical Birman thing though I think. I agree that your kitten is just missing his mom and siblings. I'm sure once he's settled into your place the meowing will reduce. Enjoy him though. They're such gorgeous sweet little things!!
