That new mattress must be working out pretty good.
We haven't heard back from Jan sence she got it delivered.
Are you able to get out of that bed

Perhaps she is trying to find her bounce, hee hee!
Patience, patience! It can't move into the bedroom until Friday night. Actually, I've not been around because I've got some stupid epizootic crud bronchitis thing that's laid me low. When I'm at home, I'm in (old) bed and poor Nelson is running himself ragged bringing me hot tea, water, saltines, etc. So, neither of us is currently enjoying anything, anytime, involving lounging.
From what most of you say, we're all victims of the mattress industry. Even the ones with warranties usually prorate them so you rent your mattress. No one has said a standard mattress is wonderful. Most who love theirs have added pads or gone outside the standars. We may see a Baby Boomer revolution. We're all getting old and want our creature comforts. Rise up and lower the boom on crappy mattresses!

No can do a crappy mattress! I actually have a Craftamatic adjustable bed. My ex's grandma paid $3500 for it, then fell and was put into the care center. She never went back (she's still alive, 104 this month!!) and the bed was brand new. I got it in the divorce, it's really comfy, but the memory foam pad just makes it sooooooo luxurious. I love to sink into it, in fact I think it's time to go sink now, lol.
Take care of yourself Jan, I am sorry to hear about your bronchitis crud, been there! It's good that you have such good room service (hi Nelson). Get lots of rest, hopefully you'll get your bounce back soon!

How wonderful that you grandma is still with you at 104.
Happy Birthday Grandma!!!!
To bad she had to fall and ended up in nursing home.
Kitty I have memory foam on my bed too, so I know what your talking about sooooooo comfy. I wonder how long those memory foam last? We just got ours last year.
You've all been so supportive (hoping for the same from the bed) that I'll share the final, semi-final

, result:
By this evening, the mattress had outgrown the double twin beds of the daybed and Nelson had to start his research (a crash course) and show Widget that, just because the bed remembered her feet, it isn't stealing her soul.
There was a slight delay while we waited for protesters against the loss of the old matress to get more curious about the new one.
Finally, everything is in place....except me.

Cats are all in the guest room trying to figure out what is missing.

Wow, pretty bed and cool mattress. So, the big test is tonight. You know you'll have to check in with us tomorrow morning and let us know how "the big night" was....
