0PUFF APOLLO JUST HAD A BLOODY STIIK-ut today i found a well formed stool with frank blood, No triouble with elimination. I did not savesince it is saturday nd the vet does not open till monfsy - I will see what tomorro- DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS OR RECOMMENDATIONS- T HSNKD GOT YHRHRLO`
What do you mean by frank blood? Is it a little bit or a lot? If you saw it when it was still fresh, was the blood bright red? If it was only a little, and the color of the blood was bright red (if you saw it when it was fresh, before the blood dried to a darker color), I wouldn't worry about it too much, it was probably caused by irritation due to a hairball or constipation. If it was a lot of blood, then call the nearest emergency vet.
I agree with what sarah has said...but if in doubt, an emergency vet, would be a good call, just in case
