I worry about my babies' weight! When I took Gabriel to the vet recently, he weighed 8.2 lbs at 6 mths old. I talked to the vet about his weight. She said that he was fine since she could still feel his ribs when she examined him. My girl Gabby is a little bigger, but I have not been able to get a good weight on her. Yet, I can still feel her ribs.
Your baby is BEAUTIFUL!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!
I do worry a bit about Mocha's weight. His tummy feels like a hard barrel LOL. The vet said that he needed to thin down. Not sure how to separate his food from Bonkers. Bonks is very slender and can eat on and off all day. Perhaps give Mocha wet food 2x a day, and keep Bonkers food up where only he can get it. Mocha is no athlete!
Sunny is truly beautiful. With Maltese dogs if you double their weight at 12 weeks it gives you an "estimate" of their adult weight. I've had 2 Maltese and I have to say that is pretty accurate. I don't know, is there a similar way of estimating the adult weight of our raggies? I do tend to think though that at 9 months Sunny has done a lot of her growing.
We just picked up our first raggie baby last week. The breeder had a 6 month old female there that looked like a full grown cat. It was close in size to some of her other females that were several years old. The 6 month old was big but she was the prettiest of them all. I would have scooped her up in a heartbeat if the breeder wasn't keeping such a close watch over her. lol.
She is such a beautiful girl. I think they all run about 2# heavier than their age in months up to a year. So, she probably pretty normal for a ragdoll. I can't wait to see how much bigger mine get also. Bentley just turned a year January and weighed 13.5# the last time I weighed him.
So pretty! Monkey was 13.6 pounds at 6 months, but he is a male. He doesn't have the fluff like some of the kitties on here have (I'm hoping my next one has a big beautiful ruff!).

The vet said she isnt overweight, just a BIG cat. Raggies are supposed to be a large breed though and it is possible that some are on par with Maine coons.
Heres my girl

Hi, I'm guessing she is the right size for a raggie. Boys tend to be bigger than girls, but my Max who is 7 months old is 11 pounds, as is my Simon who is 7 1/2 months. They do slow down as they get older, but they ARE big cats....lol...
And boy can they eat! lol.....

WOW-she is a beauty. My two raggies are from different breeders. Chloe the female comes from a breeder in DE but she got her breeder cats from a breeder in SC...and she grows them big!!! Whereas Leo seems to be average so far.
Were Sunny's parents (extra) large...? Hey-it's more to love.
