Hi,
My area (Youngsville/ Raleigh NC) got about 6 inches and it was snow mixed with sleet at times. Fortunately is was not as bad as they predicted with snow accumulation or ice buildup. We did Not lose power. Cats, kittens, and humans are happy it is over and all are warm.
Thanks for all your replies and wonderful tips on what to do if the power goes out and how to stay warm.

We got more snow than you did, Gail! We got between 7 and 11 inches, depending on what part of town, and I hear that some counties south of here got 12+! And I still don't own a snow shovel so my car is stuck in its parking spot
I'm glad that you didn't lose power and that everyone is warm and safe!

Gail I can't open the attachments for some reason?
I took some photos of our snow for you Teresa! Don't be too jealous, it is COLD. Although today it was really sunny and some of the snow has melted I think. Can't wait for spring/summer!

Lets try it this way.
Snow in my backyard and some animal tracks. I think it was a squirrel.
About 6 inches which is a lot for Raleigh NC but not as much as they originally thought.
