Hi! Please pardon my question, if I have asked a silly one.

I am wondering, does a Kitten lose its Baby / Milk Teeth? I read from some books that they eventually will, starting from 4 months old, but from what I observed, my little Chio Chai does not seem to change / lose any of his Baby / Milk Teeth. Is it normal, and alright, if he does not do so?

Many thanks in advance, and best regards.
Albus hasn't lost any and he is almost months, I was wondering the same....
They do lose there baby teeth. I think it is 3 months onwards... most of the time you wont notice...often they swallow them or they just get lost on the floor, with everything else! lol
Kittens lose their first set of teeth. Cody has just got all of his new set (he's 6 months old btw) and this was confirmed by the vet when I took him in for neutering. I explained that I hadn't seen any teeth around the house and the vet said that he probably swallowed them.

While Cody was teething, he was biting and nipping at toys quite a bit and I have noticed this slowing down the past week.
Hmm ..., maybe my Chio Chai has already owned a whole new set of Adult Teeth, it is just that I hardly noticed, cos he seems to have no "symptons" at all, like teething, discomfort or anything. ;P

Thank you for sharing. ^^
For most kittens, their chewing/teething stage is much milder than what happens with puppies (who seem to chew everything in sight).
When I took Ava and Felix to the vet to be sterilised a few weeks ago the vet nurse said that Ava had all of her adult teeth and Felix was at the stage of having his baby canine and adult canine side by side. They are just 6 months old. It is the funniest thing! You open Felix's mouth and sure enough there are two canines side by side. Apparently the baby canine will fall out in its own time. Iwish he woul dlet me take a picture.
I wonder if Bubba was teething when he was biting my hands, arms, & legs each morning while I was sleeping. He has slowed down and only lightly bites once or twice each morning now. Wink
