Oh poor Edward! I couldn't help but laugh. The shot of him in the window side on makes him look like he has fuzzy boots on. At least he dealt with it well at the groomers. That would have been my number one fear. Did he ride in the car without a carrier? He looked very comfortable roaming around the car in his before shots. At the end of the day it is in his best interests, and you're right the fur will grow back.

He was in his carrier for the car ride but I stupidly wrote the appointment time wrong in my diary and we arrived there 30 minutes before the groomers opened. So we have to sit in the car and wait. I took him out of the carrier then and he was stressing quite a bit.
He starts to pant when he stresses so that worried me. (i think i posted a picture where he is looking at ben with his mouth open? he is panting in that)
Normally he is not a very cuddly cat but he sat on either of our laps the whole time. Even though he was scared and stressed - it kind of made us feel special to see that he did like to be close to us.
I balled my eyes out the whole time he was at the groomers. I thought he would be so scared. But he was fine. He was again a little stressed on the way home. But as soon as he got back to his house he was calm again.
I think it was definitely worth it. He's been running around like a maniac lately, which is a big change in behaviour from the last couple of weeks. He begs for pats and scratches on the back because he can feel so much more without that mass of hair in the way.
He truly loves it. He's so soft too!
