Finished Dewey - still not too impressed.

This morning I started Zulu Hart by Saul David. The synopsis reads well although it's not a subject I am familiar with, set in Victorian times and dealing with the Zulu wars. The lead character is the illegitimate son of a British army officer and a half Irish, half Zulu actress. I've not worked out yet if he fights on the side of the British or the side of the Zulus. The author is himself half Zulu, half British I think and he is a military historian, usually writing factual books so it should be interesting. I'll let you know how it goes!!
