Today our oldest raggie Hendrix died at the age of 13 years old.
He probably got a stroke last night. We sat up with him all night, trying to comfort him but this morning he still looks completely lost (he is blind since 5 years) and it seemd he was in pain and discomfort. So we went to the vet, and he said the only thing we could do for Hendrix was to let him go. So he's put to sleep and he's over the rainbow now.
We are very very sad, but also very proud Hendrix lived with us for 13 years.
Two and a half weeks ago Eddie and Luna (two ragdoll kitties) came home to us, and Hendrix immediately took care of the little ones. This morning Eddie wouldn leave Hendrix for a minute. I hope they won't miss Hendrix as much as we do, they are still so young.
We never ever forget the very unique, adorable and very wise Hendrix, but I am glad he's in peace now and is not suffering anymore.
