We've decided that we aren't getting Fawkes this Saturday- we are going away on holiday this month and don't want to get him used to us and then upset him by taking him to a cattery and then bringing him back home so we will get him on the 30th. He's staying at his breeders until then- they're really great!!
That's great of the breeder to do thatSmile...Roll on 3 weeks thenSmile for Fawkes to arrive to his new homeSmile
That's a great idea. I postponed getting Winston and Oliver for just that reason (and now that I think about it, Petey too), and it worked out so much better!
Awww, I was so looking forward to pictures this weekend! Oh well, it will be the best decision for him though. Have a nice holiday!
Good decision for sure but heartbreaking too. You go enjoy your time away and remember your baby will be anxious for you too.
I know that must be hard for you, but I'm sure it's the right decision too.
The right decision, but I am disappointed! Mind you thats just 12 days before I get Axl! I'm excited again now, lol!
Thanks guys, yeah we're anxious to get him but we can't see any other option that would be good for Fawkes. His breeders really are great!
You know when I got Solo we went on a little 3 day vacation only after a week of having him. I just had someone house sit for me instead of taking him to a boarding place and he was the same whiny and crying little baby that followed us around and purred as soon as you pet him when we got back Wink

Just sayin....but its your choice lol! I'm excited for you to bring the new one home hehe
That seems like a very good idea, Matthew.

The breeders kept Sam for an extra six weeks for us so we didn't have to board him within weeks of bringing him home. Smile I also liked that he was a bit bigger! LOL! I'm not a fan of kittens.
