What is your cattery name? What made you choose it? Does it have a special meaning?
We are Familytimerags, most of who know us, know that we all love our dolls together, and we are very family oriented. However, it was our 2nd choice. We were going to go with something like "aristocats", but there was a breeder with a similar name. The Disney movie
The Aristocats, is a favorite in our home.
I look forward to you sharing your answers.

Hi,
We are Megailee Ragdolls. Megailee is a combination of my name and my daughter's name. I knew it would be original and we would have no trouble registering it. We also name our female cats from Barbie Princess movies (Cerafina, Janessa, and Lacey).

I wanted something that was unique but said - i breed ragdolls.
It took ages to come up with that! I had so many different names but I wanted something that I could have a great tag line to as well.
We ended up with 'First time, next time, everytime a ragdoll'
Calirags. Not much to explain. It sounded good and basicallly shows that we are in California. We were considering OC Floppers, and Scallyrags. We took a vote and everyone liked Calirags the best. The Full Name is Calirags Ragdolls of California.
I chose Furrballz because a Ragdoll can look like a big furball! LOL
I was actually surprised that it wasnt taken when I applied for it!
It was nice to hear all the results, each of you have chose wonderful names for your catteries.

I chose Blue Sky Ragdolls because I am concieted lol. I am native american and my native name is "Little Blue Sky", I had come up with a LOT of potential names including "Oneida Dolls", "O Town Rags", "Rez Rags", "Rez Kats", "Butterfly dolls" (this one almost won lol), and "One Rag". LOL!! Blue Sky Ragdolls won because it let people know that they were bred by me. Plus, I knew that I wouldnt be staying on Oneida, so I eventually chose Blue Sky Ragdolls... Butterfly Dolls would have won but I flipped a coin and Blue Sky won. I have registered another cattery name tho because I wanted my kittens to have their registration with both C.C.A and T.I.C.A, and CCA has a 13 letter limit, whereas TICA has a 15 letter limit. So I dropped the rag, and am now Blue Sky Dolls. I could register them as Blue Sky Ragdolls still, but I am choosing not to because I'd like their names to be the same with both registries.
We chose Busi-bú (FIFE), then, later, Busi-bu (CFA) and Busibu (TICA) because we usually rub our cats' belly, kiss them and talk them while they are purring, and we call this "action" "busar" (it does not have any meaning in Spanish either) so thinking and thinking we thought of this new word "Busi-bú"!

It's funny that in Spain (where we are) people always ask us if we are English just because the name Busi-bú sounds for them an English word! hee! hee!
Notredame........I can't remember how we came up with it. Our Persian/Exotics was Abberfraw....new beginnings of something old and I guess Notredame was an association with Notredame Cathedral, also something old and a new beginning when we started breeding.
Diane’s Pride
My first name is Diane.
Pride is where felines make their homes and one of the feeling I feel when I see my cats and kittens.
