Not mine, but I have lost a raggie before, and other cats, and I found that this poem expressed so much, how it was for me and how I felt. Bless you all who have lost a loved furball, I know it is never easy but time does heal, and in the wake of a new babie, comes the memory and the rememberence of our lost babies...and as I sit here now and watch my new lil' guy play, I remember the ones I lost...until we meet again that is Smile

I ONLY WANTED YOU

They say memories are golden
well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.

A million times I needed you,
a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.

If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.

Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
Thanks for the poem. So true if I could have brought Sebby back I would have but not in the shape he was in. I appreciate the poem.
You're welcome PaulageneSmile Sebby is whole and well again now, and I like to think maybe the girl I lost, is with your baby and all of the precious furbabies that were needed by the angels, till' we all meet again Smile
