Does anyone (in the US) have any idea how much it costs to reupholster a couch? i just changed the slipcover on my couch (I have 2 and whenever I do laundry I put on whichever one is clean), and saw that at some point in the last week one or both of the cats had gotten up under the slipcover and totally shredded the upholstery on part of one of the cushions (the big cushions that you sit on, not the decorative ones). This is in spite of clipping their nails and providing them with a multitude of scratching posts, scratching pads, etc. Sigh...

No idea -- but shop around and get references. We did do a sofa here at work about a year ago and they did a great job, but I have no idea how much we paid.

I had a coach redone about 7 years ago or more and it cost me as much to do that one as it would have to buy a new one .
around 1000.00 would have been ok but the man took down and spring cushion and replaced them with foam cushion
Needless to say the couch was never the same.I did shop around and he was recommended to me.
