Albus' stitches are out and his cone is off! He is, at the moment, grooming like crazy- getting all of the places he couldn't reach before.
At 5months and 1week old he weighs 3.5 kg which is 7lb and 11.45oz. Is that big or small or normal weight for a ragdoll?
Anyhow, he's great and so much happier now that his cone is gone!!

That's big! Great size for a ragdoll. Dex was about 7.5 lbs at 5 months. I weighed him last night and he is now 10.5 lbs and just turned 8 months. Grow boys, GROW!
I'm happy to hear Albus is doing so well!! My Teddy was 8 pounds at 5 months and now at 7 months old he is over 10 pounds and very long. His breeder told me she thinks he is going to be 22 to 24 pounds!! I said I wanted a BIG boy so I guess I am getting just what I asked for!! Works for me!!
That's great! I thought he was small for a ragdoll when I saw all of your photos on here but his weight is obviously on the right track! He is a little bit over how much he weighed when he went into the vets when we first noticed his vomiting so he is doing really well for getting his weight back and gaining some. I'm so proud!

So glad to hear Albus is back to normal with his stiches out and no more cone! His weight sounds great considering he lost quite a bit when he was poorly. Sounds like he is going to be a big boy! Not sure how heavy Frankie was at 5 months but he is 12 lbs now and he is 18 months. He looks quite big, but I think it is his winter coat !
Great news about Albus. Sam gets down to 3.5kg when he's sick and up to 4kg when he's well, despite his big frame so your boy's going to be a whopper compared to Sam.

Teresa: I know all about you and your picture frenzy but would you mind waiting until a few days after Christmas as a little bird told me I'm getting a new camera from Santa. At the moment we're using our computer to take photos (camera broke) and I really cannot get any of him "in action" as it goes completely blurry. Also when I take pics when he's sleeping the definition is extremely bad! I would like to do justice to him so would you mind waiting until boxing day and I will put photos up of him from Christmas day, getting his prezzies

It doesn't seem right that he's almost as big as Sam and Samantha though? I've seen pics of them and they look much bigger than Albus?

The second one was taken before he went to the vet with our camera while it was working!! I just posted it because the computer really doesn't do him justice and the camera pictures do better. Hope you can hold off now!
