Hey Matt
So glad to hear that Albus is doing so well!
I don't have much knowledge on their "perfect" weight but I'm sure it's different for each cat depending on their bone/frame size.
Albus looks quite stocky on photo so I think he'll be a big boy (the good kinda "big" not the fatty type haha). Meena was about 8.5kg at her heaviest but she was a little "obese" (hehe) so we had to trim her down to about 7.5kg. She was so perfect and gorgeous before she got sick...

This is what we call Sam's Shark's Fin Splat Cat pose. When he's got his front and rear paws in a line he's stretched out to 920 mm long, now, at 2.5 years. (The converter says that's 36 inches, which sounds a LOT.)
He's as slim as anything, though, with a very narrow chest, some of which is just him, I suppose, and his illness, and some is from his Balinese outcross ancestry. (When I pat him along his chest my thumb is on the underside of his chest, and my fingers are along his spine. I've got average-sized hands for a woman so that might give you an idea of his slim build.)
As you can see he puts all his growing effort into his tail.
