Hi to all

My two Raggies just had dinner and both did a poo after (how else to say it ...Lol) anyway one of the stools had a bit if blood on the end of the stool- small amount. It was bright red (new blood). I am thinking it is probably a slight tare. The stool seamed normal - solid and firm - lightish brown in colour. I checked both of their bottoms - no signs of blood on either of them.

My cats wee in one tray and poo in another - so I have no idea which cat it is, also neither seem different or have had any changes in their habits.

Has anyone had this happen to their cat/cats?
That sometimes happens with Ollie, especially if he had a small hairball passing through in his stool or if he had been constipated (either one could cause a little bit of irritation to the rectum). I had asked my vet about it, and she said to not worry too much about it if it's occasional, but to keep an eye on it and if it became a normal part of his stooling (if that's even a word...) then that would need to be addressed.
I agree with Sarah. A one time thing like that could be a small tear, but if it continues, check in with your vet.
Thanks for your thoughts - I so hope that is the case.

Fingers crossed, will let you know after tonights stools ...Lol
