Yesterday I was reprimanded for saying something bad about bugs.
Today I saw a bird eating tarantula on Facebook and nearly fainted. I'm still feeling uncomfortably warm and dizzy.
I don't care what you say, those things are gross.
How can some people keep those things like that in their house. I wouldn't even set foot in a place where a spider like that was kept.
Can you imagine dating someone who likes those things? Being touched by a hand that touched a spider ... eeeeeuuuuwww! Gross, gross, GROSS!!!
Am I the only one here who feels that way?
Are there spider lovers here too?
Please don't confront me with pictures. As I said, I nearly fainted.
I know what you mean about spiders (I DON'T Like'Em!) but my ex had a pair of scorpions for awhile. I was never a big fan of those, and we ended up getting rid of them after a couple of weeks. We also owned quite a few snakes and a bearded dragon. I had to sell everything when I came to Hawaii (they're banned, there are no snakes here), but I actually enjoyed owning them. I don't know if I'll ever have them again once we move, my fiance isn't a fan at all. I guess it just depends on the person
Also, my dad brought in a tarantula to scare us when I was home last, there are quite a few of them in the area that his farm is.
Spiders freak me out Jenny. I'm still sitting here shaking like a leaf.
The thing is, there is something wrong with my computer.
Whenever my mouse hovers over a link, the link just opens. I don't have to click anything.
My mouse must have hovered over the spider, because the next thing my screen was filled with about 15 pictures of that ugly brown hairy thing.
I'm totally grossed out.
When you speak of your dad's farm, is that in Hawaii? Are there tarantulas in Hawaii?

That's not trying to scare a person, it's trying to traumatise them for life!
I'm with you on this one, Conny.

Hehe!!!
That reminds me of a story.
Years ago my husband took my son shopping:
Somehow they ended up in a pet shop,:cool:my son and the pet store man talk my husband into letting my boy (9 years old ) have a tarantula.

My boy was so excited could hardly wait to show me the new addition to the family.(I had not a clue as to what he had but never thought it was that. I screamed I ran down stairs I was so upset.

My husband comes down and told me they would return it. The two of them went off to return it. Few hours later they return
Jim said pet store would not give them there money back.So honey had to get something Else.:(My so Kevin walks in the door holding a snake......Like this is better NO,

,,,, That thing is not living here with me....Snake goes back,,,, The two return an hr llater this time they have a baby rat

,I was not happy with this choice eather but did here that they make wonderfull pets .The rat stayed and was a wounderful pet for my son.
Lesson learned don't let your husband take your kids shopping

I'm thinking spiders have a place.....like outside. I always liked the story Charlottes Web and won't kill them but don't want them around me either. Creepy - Crawly!
I don't mind spiders, because they eat insects. But some types of insects really freak me out, if I'm not expecting to see them, especially some huge tropical ones that I encountered while in Central America (for part of high school)...
Come on! They're smaller than you!!

Oooooh yes, I DESPISE Cockroaches!!!
Spiders do not bother me but I have never seen a huge one. My husband does not like them so he makes me kill them. One day my little grandson then about 2 had a spider in his hair and James and his mom were arguing who was going to get it. I walked up and just got it out and those two ran. So that is my spider story and I am sticking to it.
Now I do not like any rodent. Those give me the heebeegeebee's. New word or spelling.
