Albus kept his food down!! He also went poos and wees! He has recovered better than anyone expected! He is such a strong little man alright!

Well I've got to go and double, triple, duadrouple kitty-proof the house because.......................................................................................................................he is COMING HOME in about 1 hour! Oh and also, he will only need to be confined for aprox 3 days now, because of how well he is doing. I just can't believe it! He is such and amazing little guy, I'm so proud of him. I was sure something was going to go wrong to keep him away from his home for another week.

I'll tell you how he seems later on toady!
CONGRATULATIONS. I am happy for you and your family. I guess kittens are more resilient than we realize. I'm glad it's a happy ending for Albus.
Yaaaay!! I'm so happy he's bounced back so quickly. I'm sure you and your family are ecstatic!
Great news Matthew, I am so happy for you and so relieved for Albus. By now he should be back home where he belongs and I'm sure it won't be too long before he is back to causing mischief Smile
That's such good news, Matthew! Smile

I'm so glad to hear this. And he'll fell better for being at home with you guys. Smile
Hey, about an hour after he got home I noticed he was tugging on his stitches, so poor old Albus was lugged out to the only vet open after 12pm on a Sunday to get a cone over his head. He freaked out at first but now he seems okay with it and is fast asleep.

Man this kid is mischief though! Straight for jumping on the chairs and chasing after flies! Oi Oi Oi! No, no- glad to have him home Smile
That's all great news, Matthew, you must all be over the moon at his fast progress! Looking forward to some pics when you feel he is up to it!
I'm so glad that he's home. I'm sure he'll heal even quicker now that he's home. What a time you're going to have keeping him under control it sounds like. I'd rather him be active than lethargic as he was though - what a worry!!! Keep giving us updates on how he's doing.
He is currently asleep. Here's some pics of him going to sleep:

Aren't my eyes looking bright and alert?

He's flopping and you can see the pink of his tum tum but I've taken these photos with the computer and they're pretty bad lighting. You can see where his tummy is pink (there's no fur there) and if you look really close you should be able to see there are stitches right in the middle of it? I'll try and get a better pic of his bare tum and the stitches later.

My daughter sits faithfully by his side grooming him.

He's doing so well! He had a great lot of food and water before he went to sleep. He's going to have to sleep in the bathroom tonight in his own bed until the stitches are ready to come out because he can't be jumping on and off the bed through the night. I'm so proud of him and he's taking his cone like a little champion! I'll get some photos of him running aroind and playing when he gets up.

The vet also told me not to worry too much because Albus will only do what he's comfortable doing (ie. how much he can run and jump). But of course everytime he makes a leap I FREAK OUT but have to try and relax!!
