Cerafina had a litter of 5 kittens on Dec 1st starting at 2:00 A.M. and ending at 9:00. I was with her the whole time but she did all the work.Big Grin

She is being a good mother and not leaving their sides. I am happy to report all are doing well and resting. It is too soon to tell patterns or gender but they have to be blue in either bicolor and mitted with Lynx possible.
Aww, congratulations, Gail! I hope the kittens and mom continue to do well.

Congratulations!!! A friend of mine recently fostered a pregnant cat who was too far along to spay, and so I got to see the kittens starting from when they were around 2 days old! It amazed me how tiny they are, and how unbelievably cute even when they don't even even really look like cats yet! Before this, I'd never seen kittens younger than around 8-9 weeks old.
What a tease Gail !!!!!
Where are the pictures!!!!
I go check your web site out maybe thereSmile

They are only 3 days old so no photos yet.
They were all born white and their eyes are closed and ears to the side and folded over.
They do have long nails however.
They hardly look like kittens at this point.
Wow!! Congratulations! Glad to hear that both mum and the babies are doing well.. You must be very happy and excited! I have never seen the process of cat giving birth to babies, and seeing them grow up... It is fun to watch, but definitely lotsa time/effort and not to mention a big heart, in order to ensure mum's smooth pregnancy, then delivery, then taking care of mum and babies after birth... I really respect the breeders! Kudos to you, Gail! Smile
Congrats on the kittens. Can't wait to see them.
Congratulations Gail. What fun it must be watching them grow.
Congrats on the new litter. I look forward to seeing pics of them as they grow.
Congrats on 5 healthy little kittens.
