I had a wonderfull night out with friends and my daughter inlaw to be.
tonight. We went to a broadway show call Wicked.
I'm sure some of you have seen it. I have been wanting to see it for a few years now. This is a must see show if you have never been to a broadway show and get a chance go see this one for me it was hands down the best broadway show I have ever seen, not that I have seen that many.
The story starts out long before Dorothy in the wizard of Oz, two other girls meet in the Land of Oz. One - born with emerald-green skin - is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. WICKED tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, and how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.
Just thought I would share my nightSmile
My daughter in PA told me "Wicked" is wonderful and that I must see it. Of course I haven't.
I'm always the last to see everything.
I've heard good things about it but haven't seen it. I would love too. Sounds like you had a great night out!
Sounds like a great story. I had no idea what wicked was about I knew it was OZ related it sounds very interesting. If I ever get a chance to see it I definitely will.

Thank you for the recommendation!
I have heard about it too - but haven't known what is was about. It sounds great though!

I know its in Sydney at the moment... wonder if its coming to Adelaide. I just looked up the website and it doesn't say anything about it coming here so I guess not. But the Wicked in Sydney is the same as the one over there, well same storyline.

I'm glad you had a good time Smile
Maybe we could meet at some central location and all see it together. Yikes, from Indiana, Alabama and Texas, it looks like that would be Missouri. Big Grin lol
Wicked is one of my all time favorite shows. I love the story and still play the music from the original cast on my ipod all the time. I'm glad you loved it as well. I would love to see it again.
I, felt the same way Judy as soon as it was over I wanted to see this again.
Katleen, looks Wicked will be playing in Dallas and Huston in May,Maybe you Ladys can all meet in TexasSmile
Has anyone seen Grease was thinking of geting tickets to see it for my mom as Christmas Gift .
I think it is Playing in Clevland in May or June sometime.
I haven't seen Grease either. Linda, I think that's a great gift idea.Smile
I haven't seen Wicked, but I read the book and it was great! I did get the opportunity to see Broadway's Lion King when it was in Honolulu, and that was absolutely breath-taking. If you have the chance, you really need to see that one as well!
