A bit cold here today, but there is warmth in our house as we brought home an adorable 12 week old Ragdoll kitten!
I am here for advice and information.
Here is a picture:
Any ideas for what to name
her?
That is a cute kitten! What is the gender? Do you have a name for her/him yet? What were the circumstances of your getting her/him (birthday present, other occasion, present to self, etc.)?
I have a five-month old kitten who is my first raggie. I have had her about a month now. Her name is Kaitie.
I am new to Ragdolls also. There are some very knowledgeable people on this forum though.

I should have put my last line above the picture. I asked for ideas for names for her.

She was a lost kitten. The guy we got her from said he was outside on a sub 20F degree day about a month ago and she was outside in a tree crying for food and warmth. He took her in until he could find the original owner. He tried the entire time to find out who she belonged to with no luck. So he started putting out the word to find her a good home.
We responded. We also said that if the original owners ever "show up" asking about her that we would give her back because it is the right thing to do.

I first heard about ragdoll cats about 2 years ago when I visited a house and the owners had a ragdoll. They got him from a friend of a friend who was breeding them when she got sick and had to quit. They got him free.
I said I wasn't getting any more cats - - - - until she fell into my lap!

Welcome to the forum!!
She is amazingly beautiful, it is wonderful that you opened your home and heart to her. It looks like it was meant to be.
We seem to always pick Disney names for our cats. My daughter likes the name Katara.

Whatever name you choose, I am sure it will be lovely. We look forward to hearing more about her as she grows, and can't wait to know her name.
Purrs,
Stormi
LOL, Marci, we must have been posting at the same time.

Some like my name and some don't. My full name is Stormi Dawn, and as you can imagine I was born on a stormy morning. My parents didn't really have a name chose, they had thought of a few, but soon after I was born, I was named.
I have cousins with strange names, Mystery, Mysti Dawn, Wendi Dawn, Jade, and even grew up knowing a boy named Stormy, but he changed his name as SOON as he turned 18, and never wanted to be reminded of it again, he hated his name.
My Dad had hoped we would have named our daughter, Sunshine or Sunny, but we loved the name Ashlan Brionne. I am Irish, so she has the Irish name, and our son, Joseph Charles, is named after many generations of my husband's paternal Italian family.
I love Kaities full name, it is a fun, cute name!!

I want someone with a Ragdoll boy to ask for name suggestions, I want to see a blue kitty named Blueregard!!
Purrs,
Stormi
Can anybody here tell me the kind of ragdoll she is?
Please and thank you.

The last picture appears there is some cream (orange) color coming in, she will get darker up to 2 years. So, from what I can tell, she appears to be a blue/cream torbie bicolor. Torbie is a combination of tortie and lynx. She is beautiful, I hope you continue to share her stories and pictures.
