Handsome. I know that the choc point looks alot like my Mykah even to the lighter tail and he is a seal point but his Daddy is a chocolate point. I sure don't get all that stuff but nonetheless tell your friend nice cats.
Everyone really thinks he is a seal? I know he is young, but his back is so creamy and has no signs of darkness - the photo is dark which is making his face seem dark, but his father was a chocolate colorpoint and mom was a blue bi-color. Hmmm. Who Knows! Debi never told me.
Gorgeous Boys. I too think Sergio looks like a Seal. He is only just over a year old anyway so thats why he has such a light body. Some never shade up much. Oscar came from two seal point parents and that is why his points were so dark, he often had people commenting on it but he had a very clear coat. His sister who was also a Seal Point was very different however, she had less dark points but she already had shading (or a darker coat) at 10 weeks old when we first met them.

If Sergios parents were 'Pure Blue' and 'Pure Chocolate' then all kittens would be seal anyway. But I'm guessing you just said they were blue & chocolate because you didnt know what they carry. If Dad carries dilute then both blue and seal kittens can come from that mating. If Mum carries chocolate and was mated to a pure chocolate then seal and chocolate kittens could of been born. If Mum carries choc and Dad dilute, then seal, blue, choc & lilac kittens could of been born. So saying the parent's colours without knowing what they carry doesn't really help in this case.

Either way - they are both very beautiful!! Smile
They are both lovely boys. Thats what I love about this forum, there are so many experienced people. I used to think Coco was a Chocolate Tortie, but now know that there are actually different shades of Seal.
