What are your thoughts on the Chocolate colorpoints? Do you think there is a big difference between this and seal? I know they are a little lighter in color - but are they really that noticeably different. I have seen both in person, but never right next to eachother. I noticed chocolate colorpoints don't really have a saddle? Is this true?

The saddle is a characteristic of the bicolor pattern. Seal should be black. Chocolate should be milk chocolate colored. A light seal can be confused with a dark chocolate, that is why seals and blues were misidentified as chocolates and lilacs and many Ragdoll breeders declined to work with them. Now there is a DNA test, so one can know whether the chocolates are chocolate.
