Thank you all.
Her condition is stabilised and there has been only slight improvement in her condition. She is still a very poorly little girl. Her parents have been told that she should turn the corner in the next few days and when she does, recovery will be quick. She isn't allowed visitors except her parents who are taking it in turns to stay with her 24/7. Your positive thoughts and parayers are really appreciated.

I was hoping to hear a much better report, but still I'm glad that she is showing some improvement.

Cassie is being held up in prayer by all of us. That has to make a difference. Best wishes for this precious baby.

My thoughts and prayers are with Cassie and all her family. It is such a worrying time, my son Jonathan was admitted to hospital with pneumonia when he was four and spent some time in intensive care. He went on to make a full recovery with no after effects.

Oh Jan, thinking of Cassie and hoping she turns the corner soon.. sending healing thoughts and lots of get well hugs xxxx

Mike has posted on his facebook tonight - Cassie has extreme pneumonia in her left lung which has basically rendered it useless. She will remain in hospital for at least 2 weeks and will be on anti-biotics for longer. On the good side, the lung will recover but will take time. She asked for her teddy tonight and has eaten a little banana desert. Mike and Wendy see this as 'happy days' compared to last friday.

Poor sweetie - but it's good to know she has asked for her teddy!!
