Since we brought Dakota home, he had developed his own special little games--but one I find particularly charming--I call it Ninja kitty. This is the game: Dakota will hear or see me or my husband coming, and he will hide. of course we can still see him, but everytime I make eye contact with him, he edges a little further behind the blanket, door, or piece of furniture so that I 'can't see him' (or so he thinks) just as i start to walk by, he jumps out--not at me but straight up in the air as if to say 'BOO!!" then he runs and hides again. A few weeks ago I caught on to his little game, so sometimes as I saw him coming, I would hide--and seeing me hiding, Dakota would himself become Ninja kitty as we sneek up on each other. At the last second I jump out and say boo! as he jumps out and straight up in the air (I wish I could show you how cute the jump is--it's just adorable) and he runs to hide again. Dakota could play the game with me all day, but I get too tired after just a few rounds. I tried to tape the whole game, but it's not the same effect, and i didnt catch one of his high jumps, but here is the idea of the game...maybe you could try it with your furry babies!!

Cute! Albus plays a similar game but instead of jumping straight up he hides and taps you with a non-clawed paw, sort of saying 'I got you'! It's very cheeky and considering his favourite toys are school bags his little paw can pop out at you unexpectedly. We call him a robber- no one would know who it was, he's always prepared with his mask!

We also play a similar game at my house. I love how they think they are completely hidden, although their big bum is poking up in the air. hahaha.
Oh yes, that is so adorable and I know exactly what you mean about the cute jump. It's kind of like they're trying to scare you with both front paws up in the air it's so funny Coco loves to play this too.
That was so funny!! I used to play a game a little like that with Simone, but she liked me to chase her from hiding place to hiding place. One night I was chasing her from the bedroom, to I thought, downstairs. As I was running down the hallway upstairs, she jumped out of the bathroom at me and I had to catch myself to keep from stepping on her. Hand into the door frame to catch myself, and a broken finger....not fun....
Mykah hides for real in one of these cubes and when we walk by out comes this paw and tags us and of course I get him godd and chase him then. It is fun the games they make up but then I remember making up my own games. I guess they are pretty much like us. Thanks for the youtube. It made my day.
