Hi All,

Thanks for all the wonderful advise. I have one new question. Fred got his first set of shots this week, and I was wondering if now would be a good time to visit him, or more in general, at what age should Fred be before I start visiting him? (Fred is now 9 weeks old)

Thanks,
Seema
Hi,That would be up to your breeder .
I would think now that he has had first shots that it would be fine to visit and I would think your breeder would welcome a visitSmile
If you do go make sure you take your cameraSmile
I would hope your breeder would welcome you now...I agree with Linda -- take your camera!!
It is safe to visit after the first set of shots.
I wish I would have been able to visit my ragdoll before picking him up! I got lucky that he was exactly the cat I was hoping for when I did pick him up at 12 weeks. I would go see him if you're able to! Just don't try to sneak him home in your pocket Tongue (Which is what I know I'd want to do! Haha)
If it is geographically possible for you then you should be allowed to visit. The person I was telling you about who is also getting a Ragdoll from Raggyangels is visiting her boy this month and I think they may be from the same litter, he looks around the same age as Fred is. Talk to the breeder and see what she says.. hopefully she will let you visit!

(I first visited Jake when he was 5 weeks old but the other boys we couldn't touch until they had their first shots although we didnt meet them until a week before the came home with us anyway).
Definitely visit if you can. They're adorable at that age and you get to see how they're being raised, preferably what breeders refer to as "underfoot." Smile
