Ragdoll Cat Forums

Hi,

After hearing all the wonderful things about having a pet cat, I have decided to get myself a little friend. I have never owned a cat before, but feel I am at a point in my life where I am ready to have that responsibility. I have researched all breeds and have settled on a Ragdoll. I should be bringing Fred home once he is 12 weeks or so old. I can't wait and am very excited. I have read a lot of these blogs, and think it's wonderful that so many questions and answers have been asked and answered. I look forward to sharing my experiences with everyone on this forum!

Hello & welcome to the forum. What color & pattern is Fred going to be? Do you have any pics of Fred yet? We love pics here. How long do you have before Fred comes home? It's exciting to have a kitten around.

Thanks for the welcome! Fred is a blue point prince. I have a couple of pics. He's only 9weeks old now, so he's still with the breeder learning his socialization skills!

I've added the pics of him from 5wks old. I'm hoping to get some updated pics of him sometime this week from the breeder.

Oh hasn't he got the cutest little face! You wont be disappointed about your new friend, its really hard to imagine life without them once you have one in your life. I think the best part is that my two follow us around the house always wanting to be near us. Not the typical downsides most people attribute to cats, saying their fickle and independent.

Congratulations in getting yourself a lovely Ragdoll kitty! And welcome to the forum... Fred certainly looks very cute and chubby at 5 weeks old... You have to update us the pics @ 9 weeks asap... We couldn't wait to see the pics... LOL... Where are you from, btw? USA?
